Research area:
Microbial Ecology
My research deals with aquatic microbial ecology. I focus on anaerobic microbes such as sulphate-reducing bacteria, phototrophic sulphur bacteria and heterotrophic protists with reference to carbon and sulphur cycling in marine and lacustrine environments.
